The PADRE Foundation (Pediatric Adolescent Diabetes ResearchandEducation) plays a critical role in the education and support of children with diabetes and their families. We would ask that you partner with us and be a vital part in the success of our mission.
Each year the PADRE Foundation hosts an annual fashion show as a fundraiser highlighting the children of PADRE performing and modeling in the latest fashions, compliments of Macy’s. The fashion show provides positive psychosocial support for children and their families while raising the funds necessary to support our educational programs.
For over 25 years, the PADRE Foundation has been dedicated to helping children from birth to age 21 understand and manage their Type 1 diabetes. PADRE serves more than 2,500 families of all backgrounds in Southern California while partnering with these leading hospitals: CHOC Children’s, CHOC at Mission Hospital, Hoag Memorial Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente.
The 23rd Annual PADRE Fashion Show will be held at the Anaheim Marriott, Saturday, May 12, 2012, in Anaheim, California. Our theme, “PADRE Kids Rock!,” embodies the hope and support PADRE has provided to children and their families throughout the years.
